REDIA Project is a retrospective study that it has like objectives:

  1. To consider the time passed from the diagnosis of VIH to the manifestation of one of them indicative pathologies of AIDS based on different variables.

  2. To know the proportion infected that is diagnosed delayed. A delayed diagnosis is considered when the first positive test has been made during the 12 previous months to the AIDS diagnosis or the CD4 count is inferior to 200x106 cells/liter.

  3. To identify the factors associated to the delay in the diagnosis of the infection by the VIH in the people infected by the virus, residents in Catalonia.
